Spellcaster — Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Spellcaster (“the app”) is published by Wes Frank (“we”). This policy
explains what data the app handles and why.
Data we collect
We do not require accounts and do not collect your name, email, or
contacts.
The app includes the following Google services, which may collect data as
described in their own policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising): device identifiers (such as the
advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP, and ad-interaction data,
used to serve and measure ads. Where required, a consent prompt (Google UMP) is
shown and your choice is respected.
- Firebase Analytics: anonymous gameplay events (levels played,
purchases made, ads watched) and device information, used to understand and
improve the game.
- Google Play Billing: purchase state for in-app products.
Payment details are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see them.
- Google Play Games Services (optional): if you sign in, your
Play Games profile and leaderboard scores are handled by Google.
Game progress is stored locally on your device only.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. Ads are not personalized where
consent has not been given.
Your choices
- Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalization in Android settings.
- “Remove Ads” (one-time purchase) removes interstitial advertising.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored progress.
